It is our pleasure to welcome you to our website describing our unique fellowship opportunity in Emergency Medicine Administration. We started this fellowship to equip the future leaders in our field to handle the rapidly and constantly evolving environment in which they will practice.

Emergency Medicine Administration and Management is a complex process and requires unique knowledge and skills that are often unattainable in a conventional Emergency Medicine residency. Learning proper ED Administration often takes years of trial and error and on the job training. Therefore, we designed this fellowship to allow for the rapid assimilation of critical ED management skills by completing an intensive one-year curriculum combining academic rigor with community practice.

Emergent Medical Associates (“EMA”) and USC Marshall School of Business have joined together to create the most comprehensive emergency medicine management program available in the world. This Non-ACGME fellowship includes a Masters in Medical Management (MMM) from the USC Marshall School of Business (A top 25 Business School) as well as real world clinical ER experience in some of the countries busiest, most complex emergency departments. In addition, the fellow will learn industry leading best practices in ER administration from recognized management experts at EMA.

Graduates of the fellowship would be expected to pursue leadership positions in Emergency Department Administration/Management, and utilize the knowledge and skills afforded them to positively impact practice environments and patient care at a local, state and national level.

We are looking to give the future leaders of ER medicine the tools they need to thrive. The past five years of the fellowship has been an unprecedented success. We are looking for top performing, dedicated and team-oriented applicants to help build on this momentum and create a tradition of excellence in ED management.

You have taken the first step in exploring your future by visiting this website. We encourage you to take the next step and apply.

We look forward to reviewing your qualifications and thank you in advance for your interest.

Warm Regards,
