Our AHP Spotlight of the Quarter is Jissille Rama, P.A.!🥼 USC Keck School of Medicine – Physician Assistant Program
Jissille Rama began her time at Valley Presbyterian as a student and has continued to work there as a P.A. for over 5 years. She was drawn to emergency medicine by the variety of cases she saw in the ER, which allowed her to challenge herself and grow as a clinician each day. Her time in the ER throughout the COVID-19 pandemic has been especially memorable to her, and she is inspired by the ER staff and their ability to provide quality care and laughter in these stressful times.
When she isn’t in the ER, Jissille enjoys spending time with her fiancé, family, and friends. Her hobbies include baking, hiking, attending comedy shows, and traveling abroad to explore different cultures. She is especially looking forward to an upcoming trip to Morocco! Ice cream is her favorite dessert, and she is currently working on visiting the top 20 ice cream spots in LA. So far, she has been to 15 out of 20 and her all-time favorite is the Birthday Cake Sundae from Gingers Divine in Culver City.
