Congratulations to Dr. Julie Jacob our 2019 EMA Physician of the Year-LA Basin Region! She has been with our EMA family since 2005 working at Centinela Hospital Medical Center. She received her Doctor of Medicine degree from the State University of New York at Brooklyn College of Medicine in New York, New York and completed her Emergency Medicine Residency at Jacobi Medical Center in Bronx, New York. Congratulations to Brittany Slaughter, PA our 2019 EMA Advanced Practice Provider of the Year-LA Basin Region! She has been with our EMA family since 2016 working at Centinela Hospital Medical Center. She received her Master of Physician Assistant Prep Candidate from University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California and is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. He is board certified in Emergency Medicine, received his Doctor of Medicine degree at Rosalind Franklin University of Health Sciences – The Chicago Medical School in North Chicago, Illinois and completed his residency at LA County USC Department of Emergency Medicine and LA County King/Charles Drew Department of Emergency Medicine. Congratulations to Dr. Miroslaw Szatko our 2019 EMA Physician of the Year- Outside LA Region! He has been with our EMA family since 2018 working at Maui Memorial Medical Center. He is board certified in Emergency Medicine and is Hyperbaric Certified. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in Piscataway, New Jersey and completed his Emergency Medicine residency at Cooper Hospital/University Medical Center in Camden, New Jersey.
